Today is the last time I will wear contacts, FOREVER! This Friday I am undergoing LASIK eye surgery, and I'm so very excited! It's scary to think about having any kind of surgery, but from the research I've done, and from the people I know who've already had LASIK, I'm confident I have nothing to worry about. My doctor, Dr. Doane of Discover O Vision Centers, has performed over 30,000 surgeries, so I know I'm in good hands.
Wish me luck, as my nerves are beginning to sink in. :) I'll be sure to write, post-surgery with an update. 
Thinking and praying that all goes smoothly. It okay to feel what you are feeling its only normal. I bet you will love the results. I hope to know how you are doing before we leave for Ethan's surgery. Call me:)
